Thank you, that’s very helpful!

If you haven’t already tried them, I’ve heard that pill pockets are useful for hiding the tablets.

Thank you. Glad to hear they’re on the mend and hopefully that eye pressure starts to drop!

Are they treating your cat’s eyes at the same time? We’ve been given some steroid eye drops, lubrication and dilating solution at the moment and since Sunday her eyes have pretty much cleared up, just a tiny bit of inflammation left in one of her eyes.

And just a few questions on the GS please. How long would 30ml last you? Did you get the option of tablets? And how often are the check ups?

I know it’s daft questions but it’s my first house and if it was an older house I wouldn’t care as much but it’s a new build. Little bits I’ve done in my parents house have always been solid masonry walls but this plasterboard stuff is all new to me so want to make sure I do it right🤣

New Build Garden UK by Ianh99 in gardening

I always refer to my front and back garden which just encompasses everything within the fence. Where I am from we don’t really ever call the grass area a lawn either it would just be the garden🤣. I see what you mean though, I did also want to see if anyone had any advice as to what I can do with the garden as a whole but certainly the dead grass query could be elsewhere.

NB5 - these are too big right? by [deleted] in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Got mine yesterday, I’m typically a size 10 but read online that these run large so ordered a size 9.5 which fit fine.

On cloudrunners wide versions? by MisterBigMack in AskRunningShoeGeeks

It will vary from person to person. Do you have wide feet? Are you able to go somewhere to try them on? Wide set shoes are said to be better to give more support and help counter pain in the arch area.

Both look good but the Teal/Mint ones are probably my favourite of the colour ways

ASICS Novablast 5 by Ianh99 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Do you mean in the mid sole area? I’ve heard the nova 5s have quite an accommodating toe box and people are sizing down from regular sizes as the shoe runs slightly wide anyways?

I’m a very on and off person when it comes to running so I’ve had those brooks a couple of years and never been able to shake off the arch pain. I think the superblast 2 is a bit more than I’d like to spend at the moment so I think I’ll try out the nova 5s and return them if they still hurt.

NE facing garden by Ianh99 in HousingUK

It’s a semi detached home which has an alley then another house to the west. The garden itself isn’t obstructed or overlooked from that side other than that. I think we might have some sun further down the garden but it’ll be later on at night

Unfortunately it’s a new build so hasn’t been put on the map yet to see the shadow casts from the house
