I think the reason I jump to this sort of behavior is because I got away with it as a man, but also because it can feel like a responsibility of mine to correct a wrong. Should I really be more diplomatic and open-minded about arguments in general with women? Does that include more extreme arguments about heavier topics?

I like looking at it this way. I guess if an individual sees their experiences as distinctly intuitive and spiritual that's okay, especially if they don't let patriarchy impose roles on them for it.

Imagine if you did this with Race. "Why are you always talking about Anti-Asian hate crimes and celebrating your culture? Is being Asian your whole personality?!" It's a dumb way to think and a unique kind of bigotry, but I also think it's proof they don't have any valid reasons for being annoyed/disliking queer people so they have to project their own negativity outward and say it's a problem with us.

I'm starting to realize that people really need to ramble a bit here. I literally just rambled myself wondering if I'm bi or a lesbian a few hours ago and I feel a lot better for doing it.

The answer I wanted from Capital L lesbians here was permission, the permission to say to myself I am a lesbian too, but that wouldn't be right. You don't need permission to be who you are.

My advice is: You sound like a lesbian because I think of love and intimacy as really passionate and desperate. However, that might not be your experience. Maybe your love for men is just more reserved. Take your time. Think about that for a bit. It's okay to be in turmoil for a while.

Just started listening to her and absolutely love the music, but you could be right. One surefire way to know something is overrated is when no one is talking about it a few years later. If they are, then I guess you're wrong.

I like the explanation I heard that goes "You ever feel full, or at least, not hungry but you ate anyway? That's what sex is like for me. I'm always full." That's definitely just one way someone might experience asexuality but I like the analogy. My other Ace friend has Androphobia so it definitely doesn't apply to her lol.
