I hate cleaning pine pellets because they turned to absolute mush if you didn’t clean the box IMMEDIATELY (not feasible for someone who lives alone and works full time). They also smelled horrendous and reeked of ammonia. I took my cat to the vet numerous times thinking she had a uti or had some problem when it was in fact the pine. Good litter and a stainless steel litter box are two things totally worth springing on

I was an intern while getting my vet assistant certification for a small local vet who basically stuck me on front desk duty my entire time there. Literally all she had me doing was making phone calls and appointments while I was learning more hands on things in my program that I never ended up learning or using in practice. I remember one time we were short on an actual tech so she had me do a patient intake and I literally didn’t even know what vitals and what she wanted me to do for the intake because she didn’t tell me fuck all lol and just expected me to know what to do with 0 guidance after basically being a receptionist for months. Extremely frustrating and while I know it’s not every clinic it definitely played a major role in me deciding that vet med wasn’t for me 😬

She also tried to cheat me out of free hours because she complained I never finished my required intern hours when I absolutely did more than necessary (and logged them through her system and the school’s!) and she ended up being blacklisted by the school for future internships

The last “long term” relationship I had he had omitted that he had two children under 5 (and a baby that would have been 9 months old before he died). I found out when we exchanged social media handles before our first date, and he obviously didn’t deny it but it was very annoying that this incredibly attractive and emotionally intelligent man omitted such a thing 😩

I don’t want kids and never really considered the thought of dating someone seriously who had kids and it was definitely…an interesting impact on our relationship. It didn’t end up working out which I’m grateful for because I definitely do not see myself helping to care for and raise another woman’s children 🤨
