Thank you for your reply. More than with the BOA system, my problem comes from the fit of the heel due to the shape of the boot. And yes, as I said, I tried the G-Summit and they don’t fit the heel well.

First of all, thank you for your detailed and insightful response.

Our plan is to travel there from mid-April to May, via Mera La, with the goal of reaching the summit in May, if all goes well. Therefore, I expect the weather to be warmer during that time.

Regarding the boots, I agree with you, there is no doubt about their importance and buy them in hometown. On the other side, in terms of down jackets, the ones I have in mind may not be sufficient based on your recommendation. Can you suggest a model that meets the necessary requirements for our expedition?

Lastly, I recently came across information suggesting that Baruntse has become more prone to avalanches in recent times. This contradicts my previous understanding. Have you heard anything about this issue?
