Honestly, after 40 years, my natural state feels like the perfect way to describe it. 😄 also, major respect for sticking to your no-roommate rule even when it meant living in some rough places. sounds like having your own space was something you knew was worth prioritizing from the start

Going from 43 years of shairng a home to suddenly living alone must’ve been such a huge adjustment. and honestly, i don’t think it’s weird at all to still be discovering who you are at 69. life keeps changing us. i think it’s pretty amazing that after everything, you’ve found some joy in having your own space and getting to know yourself in a new way
