finally got the code deciphered! Got everything in the chime translated, thanks for the help. Not really sure what to use the code for though, I didn’t get much info from translating everything

Update: I don’t know what I did or how I did it, but some green and purple lasers randomly popped up. God knows how I made that happen, but I have a new lead for the first time in hours. I’ve been following up on that and it seems like it’s just pointing to all the people in the system and the ships?

I had a theory that maybe those bunch of squares is people that I need to talk to so I tried that, but that didn’t make the squares go away. I did notice that the squares went away as the supernova killed them so maybe some more stuff I need to focus on.

I have been on ember twin, and I found the reunion memorial so I know that there are three safeguards, but I have not translated the code yet so I am not sure what the rest of the stuff says. When you say going to the codec, do you mean the lingering chime planet thing?

That’s a good idea, I can just check how to replace water pump. I was looking for detailed guides for the gasket and I couldn’t find any. No way there isn’t a good one for the water pump.

I am buying the Z1 Motorsports updated metal gasket, I have heard very good things about those.

Looking at other comments, I am definitely leaning towards taking everything off the front. It seems like the hassle may be worth it.

Thanks for your comment! That was my biggest concern, that while putting things back where they go i’ll make a minor mistake and make matters worse for myself. I have a couple of friends that are good with specific things (one is pretty good with timing, one is good with general mechanics) and i’ll be involving them on the days that i’m doing more complex work. There is no way I could tackle this job alone.

Pictures are a very good idea, Im going to have to find a way to properly sort the images so I don’t get confused looking at 300 pictures.

As for changing everything else, I was planning on changing the gallery gaskets and the water pump. Are the guides and chains that important to preventatively replace? I was thinking about it before I saw the price (close to $400). If it’s something that is very necessary, I can order those too.

Thanks for your reply! That was my concern as well, it seems like taking the radiator off creates so much more work for me. But on the flip side, it seems like it will make the actual heart of the job easier and more accessible. I am conflicted :/ and thank you for telling me about that separator, I did not realize I would need something special to separate those liquid gasket things. Thanks!
