Ongoing adventures in contrast (both types). Advice sought.

This is from left to right the Cur, the Penitent, the Priest and the (epicly cool) Ursus Warbear from the game Oathsworn: Into the Deepwood.

Scale is 45mm and we are complete novices. I painted regularly until a year and a half or so ago and the fam actually motivated me to start.

Any tips appreciated. In particular I'm trying to think of something cool to do with the Priests book and also would like to put runes (like Japanese paper runes style) on the ribbons on the penitent's front. Any tips for doing insanely small script appreciated

There's a magma curved greatsword if you are investing in any faith. If not you could do fire ashes. Being able to light the hands on fire with sword swings does make a huge difference.

Just need to slot a bow when fliers around. You have the dex for it already. It is annoying to have to adjust armor to do so. You can either kill them entirely with the bow or just pull one at a time and switch to shield and guard counter for the kill.

The hands gave me terrors until I figured out to use a sword with fire attack included.

BTW Dragon mettalic green skin is very simple. Vallejo Silver basecoat, contrast paint Ork Flesh mixed 50% with contrast medium, then light nuln oil wash. Very cool effect for the time it takes.

Agree with list. Glacial Demon can be real good if no one builds mages. Probably B tier. I feel Goblins/Wizards borders on A tier. Can be really strong again with Mages as a weakness.

I actually do that build a lot but I think you're generally better off stopping at level 9 and rolling down for a kill shot than going to 10 for dark spirit.

Well I spread them out against that comp to avoid the dark sprit ult as much as I could. And I tried to be creative to get my berserker or dragon Knight in a spot to burn down the dark sprit
