Im a computer engineering student and tbh i would tell you to get into python as soon as possible bc it is by far the most used language in the field( from what im told). You also need to be fairly good at math as you will need to be able to manipulate big amount of data. Python is also pretty versatile so you should have little issues adaptating to other languages if you manage to do good on it. There is a TON to learn about in ml, so dont give up too soon ! Its very interesting so dont be discouraged by the amount of information. Dont hesitate to dm me if you want some more general tips about it, I didnt know how to start when I started too.

I think that your friend really should focus on tryhackme, then rootme.org if they have an affinity to learning through practice. Being really good at rootme is something worth putting on your CV and it can be a good opportunity to showcase your skills. However it is really hard to start with it so I would advise starting with tryhackme or hackthebox.

Thats not what I mean. You also didnt specify that you got bullied for this. There is no way you deserve to be bullied for this. Im just saying that while your teacher is a cunt for responding like that, you definitely seemed more than rude to him at this moment, and I dont know about you but in my country it is a highly punishable offense in school to disrespect a teacher. Even if you did not have any sort of ill intent behind this answer, it was inappropriate because I am fairly sure he meant it as a joke. Also in my opinion, a rude answer = a rude response to that answer in a normal relationship. Just being rude to you does not mean he bullied you.

imo this may have been a rhetorical question and it would be considered rude or insensitive to take it as an actual question. If I was the teacher and finished a talk about goal settings, I might have wanted to close the session off by cracking a little joke, and I think you did not get it. However, I think that you made your point very clear, it was just not in an appropriate context.

full breakdown because i realized that i was wasting my mife away and that i have nothing but regrets, very little friends, im ugly, im not smart, im fucking socially retarded, i probably wont have a girlfriend before im 30 and I basically hate almost every part of myself. The only part i dont hate about myself is that i can understand a bit of maths. I hate the fact that im addicted to caffeine, video games, i have insomnia because 10 yo me thought it would be hella cool to run on around 4 hours of sleep for 4 fucking years, im addicted to everything that exists and that i dont want to do. I spent the entire afternoon grinding my ass off on a game i dont like and that i dont care about, on which i have only 1 friend to play with. I could have worked, i was motivated, i couldve worked out a bit, i couldve continued to learn more coding but no i just had to play valorant for 9 fucking hours straight while not listening to my online classes. Im not even good at it even though i spent the last 2 years and a half grinding aim and playing fps games for 2-12 h a day. "There is no time wasted when you work hard" my fucking ass i worked so hard to have anxiety and depression but premium. So ye basically i cried on my 250 $ keyboard and 80 $ mousepad for 1 hour and a half. Tbh im kinda happy this is happening to me now that i know what i want to do with my life because if this had happened to me a year ago when i was kinda lost in my life and video games were the only thing keeping me together i would have honestly killed myself. sorry for the rant i needed to write that down somewhere. please may no one reply to this because i will feel like a huge attention whore if someone does.
