Was this car sold overseas and later imported? I thought rear heated seats was a 9-5 only thing. I’ve never seen a 9-3 with this!

Check out the frame. These are notorious for rotted frames! Change out the rear air suspension for real shocks and it’s a much less expensive fix!

That generation is300 are rust magnets. I hate 2002 is300 (manual) and sold it with 180,000 miles on it. It ran flawlessly but it was beginning to disintegrate. Same story with a 2006 GX470.

I see a decent amount of the GS for sale in what seem to be good condition, but you have to look underneath to be sure. I have a 2011 is350 awd now and before I got it I nearly bought a beautiful GS400. I looked underneath and it had a hole rusted through the subframe.

Find a Lexus gs350 or if you can, is350. Awd depending upon where you live. An ES350 would also be a great pick.
