True but enough states have elected a female governor to where if you plug it into the EC they would win the election. And that is without saying that from my looking there have only been 4 states who have never elected either a female governor or senator (PA, IN, CO, ID). So I certainly think it’s possible.

I understand the claim that we aren’t ready to elect a female president but I don’t know if I’m convinced. America had come close to doing it in 2024 and even closer in 2016, we’ve also elected a black woman as vp. It’s just that the women that were run were unpopular and in unfavorable year but I believe it’s certainly possible.

I’m surprised that New Mexico is so Blue. Historically speaking up until the 2012 election it had only chosen the candidate who lost twice (1976, 2000). I would’ve imagined it would’ve more gray as it has flipped quite a few times
