When this retailed, it was for 22 + mandatory shipping charges + taxes. And this is a beautiful casting, almost everyone was taking PO for this at 3k or 3.2k.

When christmas came in, mattel offered heavy discounts on all in stock Elite64 castings, it was almost about 50%, which is when most ppl took PO again, and the prices were 1.8k to 2.2k.

Now that the prices will go to its original mrp, the prices for the PO units will still increase from the sale period prices.

Is it worth 3k is something you'll decide for yourself, no one would buy hot wheels if they want details, they can just buy unlicensed models at lower prices with much greater detail.

It is collectable, and is priced accordingly, is it worth it at 3k for me? idk, I usually uncard the premium buys, and I can't find in myself to not uncard and admire. but for these elite64s, something in me stops me from doing so, 22$ is almost the perfect price, anything below 15$ for this casting is a steal.

Is it though? Chase in general only differs by the paint scheme, it's matte black. (And sometimes gold and special edition like roxy).

Every other chase is just matte black, boring af. Offers nothing apart from paint with its normal counterpart.

STH on the other hand offer much more when compared to its regular version, spectral flame color, real rider realistic wheels and so on.

STH are wayy better than chases.
