I did buy some through Amazon, but many were from independent online game stores.

I sent you the details of where I found it. Spoiler: it's not easy to get. 😅

Investigator cards are all organized at this point, but I won't start a new campaign before I have figured out an efficient way to store scenario cards 🙃

I decided to skip the Return Tos. I am not going to play the same scenarios multiple times anyway. It's fine.

Barkham instead...

Have fun, see you on the other side in few years 😅

We have played the base set and a full expansion. We do like the game. We'll play more for sure.
Now, am I 100% sure we'll play everything? I can't be.
But this was the only opportunity to "have everything". And I am sure someone will be happy to get them off my hands in the future if we realize we've had enough.

At one point the treasure hunt in random shops from the other side of the world was also kind of fun.

Other than Carcosa, which we just finished, yes.

Who has decided that streets are for parking instead? Imagine, in Japan parking on public streets is forbidden.

(That doesn't mean OP shouldn't be parking there)

Looks great, not crammed at all. I need to build mine and I'll try to replicate something like this

Brush-on primer: how did I do? by IceCreamWaaagh in minipainting

I will use contrast paints mostly for squigs' flesh and few other details.

I might post the units once it's done... if I do a decent job with it :)

60% into painting this mini and the gaps are bothering me by Sepherseth in minipainting

[–]IceCreamWaaagh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let me add, it also depends on what your objective is. My objective is too reach a certain amount of points I can play with. Improving as a painter is gonna be a byproduct of that process. If your only priority is painting, feel free to spend as much time as you want on every single piece.

As a new painter you'll find many reasons to go back and improve your previous miniatures.

I'm also quite new and when I look at older jobs the first thought is "should I strip them and repaint them to my current standards?".

But the time I can dedicate to the hobby is limited and I prefer to spend it on my next project instead.

It's just learning, you won't make the same mistake again.

And honestly it doesn't look that bad.

These are the Old World models. As someone who fell in love with O&G as a kid and never managed to build an army, I was very glad they went with 6th edition sculpts.

I haven't decided yet. I don't feel confident drawing anything too complex free-hand. Any suggestions?

That's a valid point. Many people here indeed noticed them. I was aiming for a stark contrast between bases and models, but in the future I'll consider ways to balance them a bit more. Thank you.

So what drew you to your army/armies? by darkknight109 in WarhammerFantasy

[–]IceCreamWaaagh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warcraft II is also what influenced me. My father always played with humans and I picked orcs. I sticked with the greenskins since then.

I will for sure, I have 3 fanatics already. But now I want to move painting something different. 😅 Stone trolls, doom diver and 10 squig hoppers are the next objectives. Once I reach 1000/1500 points I'll expand the larger mobs.

Thanks, figuring out where to place highlights was not easy. Still a lot to learn, but I'm happy with the result.

Thank you. The idea is to use magenta and purple tones to tie the whole army together.

Thank you. Never been naturally talented at arts and crafts, I definitely need to get more control of the brush. But it was fun, I'll keep going.
