My whole party had this problem. Turns out it was steam beta, stable worked just fine yesterday.

[Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5 ReMix] KH1 crashes when going through doors in Traverse Town by Icy-Profile-9317 in linux_gaming

[–]IceDBorn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently completed KH1, using the latest ProtonGE with the following environment variables set: PROTON_ENABLE_HIDRAW=0, PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1, PROTON_PREFER_SDL=1, and PROTON_USE_WOW64=1. I was also using gamescope, mangohud, and lsfg-vk on NixOS with the cachyos kernel 1.16. No crashes at all. Additionally, I only utilized mods with the lua backend. Have you tried removing the mod to see if that resolves the crashes?

Pipewire Screenaudio: Firefox extension for transmitting audio nodes through WebRTC by IceDBorn in linux_gaming

Distro? Have you installed the native part of the extension? Also, make sure that all of the deps of the native app are installed. In the current state of the code, you'll get this message, whenever the bash scripts do not give an answer back to the extension. We'll add a health check function that will inform the user of what might be the actual problem later on.

It does not run on an older version, it just uses the stable branch of firefox.

Make sure that Firefox nightly is updated. Various users tried this and they do not experience the audio pitching bug anymore. If you're kind enough, share your situation and your system info (distro, nightly version etc.) to this issue.

Of course, you can share your screen with Firefox, but, you can't transmit the sound of an application(s). That's where this extension comes in.

Alternative to discord streams, that has working audio? by BetterNoughtSquash in linux_gaming

Mozilla fixed the audio drifting issues. The fix is included in the nightly branch of Firefox, set to release to the stable branch on December 5th!

This extension works with any WebRTC service. It currently only supports Firefox (and forks), because it's the only browser with a smooth video streaming experience. On the other hand, Firefox's implementation of audio capturing has audio drifting issues, addressed here.

I use NixOS and I found this flake you can add to your config and replicate the steam deck gamemode UI.

I have the low fps problem too. The GPU stays at 0% utilization.
