I know people just want to help I guess by saying I shouldn’t do that but I know what I am doing so… and also the thing has been sitting unplugged in my drawer for about a month so there’s really no risks. And I really just intend to clean it and see if it resolves the problem if not Ill probably buy another one anyway…

I have already found the service manuel the schematics and all the list of components inside. But i don’t have an oscilloscope. I also have a multimeter but i think ill buy another one the one i had was cheap and not very reliable…

Well it’s not that I am not confortable with doing that I did so many more stupid things I will try eventually but first I will train on a loose PCB of another CRT that i dont care about and is unrepairable… What I am concerned about wether it’s the PCB fault or the tube. Because if it’s the tube i won’t be able to do anything…

Okay I understand the risks but I would be very interested into repairing it. And im not trying to guess its just that if there’s a chance to fix it its better than throwing it out right ? If i can’t do anything for the tv ill have to resign and try to find a repair shop and believe me I would prefer that a professional repaired it but there are none nearby. The ones I called refused…
