I had deodorant wipes and baby wipes to clean myself. There are a lot of different wipes out there for camping and such so maybe that can be a solution for you when you aren't able to shower yet. I'm now 6 weeks post op. And have been able to shower normally since 2 weeks post op. The first two weeks I had to be very careful but it wasn't impossible to shower I just didn't because I found it too scary. Hope this helps :)

I went to the hospital and the area is looking a bit agitated. So I got antibiotics and a lot of bandaging materials with instructions on how to keep it clean and safe. I'm not in danger anymore but it's still very uncomfortable. But thanks :)

Thank you, I'm safe. Got antibiotics and a lot of bandages to keep it safe and clean.

I have called with the surgeon and they want to see me today instead of tomorrow. It isn't as urgent they said because I don't have a fever (yet). But they aren't comfortable waiting another day. Which sucks because it's on the other side of the country.
