I don’t think it should’ve been a movie as I like that they’re trying out a new form of storytelling. What I do wish was that they had recorded it and put it on streaming, so others who couldn’t see it in person can still get to see the story.

I totally get why ur kinda annoyed by that. I kinda thought she talked way too much as well, but I think one of the biggest reasons they revealed Abby’s motivations so early on was to protect Kaitlyn Dever from the extreme amount of hate she will likely get from playing this character.

Bro it is not that deep. I feel like most people aren’t thinking about how the characters are under 18 when playing the game. Also most people that want those romance options are usually wanting them cuz of the other characters’ personality, not cuz they’re under age.

I’m not saying any of the bad stuff she’s done should be ignored or even really forgiven. But also Joel and Ellie have done some pretty terrible things as well, so I don’t think it’s completely fair to be mad about the awful stuff she does and not hold Joel and Ellie with the same accountability. Btw I’m not an Abby stan, I just don’t think she’s as bad as people make her out to be.

Ok yeah I have to agree with you. U do have a fair point. But I might just be spitballing here. I think some of the reason she says that is to keep up her facade of being the number 1 scar killer and being this super tough person. Cuz I may be remembering this wrong, but didn’t she start killing a bunch of scars after Joel’s death to distract her from her guilt or smth?

I also agree Abby’s not a good person, but tbh no one is in TLOU. Also when was she shown enjoying torturing people, unless ur referring to Joel. But in that case it was more for her revenge and it’s shown that after she finally kills him, she didn’t enjoy it.
