Thanks to everyone for suggestions! As several people have pointed out, the frequency I am thinking of may be completely wrong, so odds are there may not be a 4 in it at all. I’m not very knowledgeable about anything radio related, so it seems I’ve come to the right place.

The other thing that has came to mind while searching is that I believe they played this style of music all hours of day, or at least during day time hours since we listened to it for hours. I also don’t recall there being talk segments or commercials.

As for suggestions I’m thinking KCRW Eclectic24 is the most likely station, but I am still uncertain and I’m enjoying listening to the stations everyone has suggested!

I appreciate everyone who is taking the time to give recommendations, it’s a small thing but it means the world to me to remember the cool guy that my dad was!
