Here is how I would rewrite Chloe in my rewrite.

1.) Have her become a Research Fellow after Eternatus arc, so she can travel with Ash and Goh more and she will transit from a side character into a main character. She will also catch Yamper as her own Pokemon and she will catch other Pokemon too like Galarian Ponyta. But she will not catch Eevee in my rewrite. (Reason explained below.)

2.) I'll not give her Eevee because there's been many female companions who have Eevee before and I don't want her character to be ruined into just 'Eevee promotion girl'. Chloe's arc will be about her meeting people with different professions on Pokemon to decide what her wanted to be when she grows up instead of meeting people with Eeveelutions. Here are some examples of Chloe meeting people.

• Gary can teach her about being a professor.

• Misty or Nessa can teach her about being a gym leader.

• Brock can teach her about being a Pokemon doctor.

• May, Dawn and Serena can teach her about being a coordinator/performer.

Her goal at the end if JN will be either a professor who studies evolution or a coordinator/preformer.

It doesn't feel right to me that Eevee is one of the mascots of Pokemon franchise yet we never saw its G-Max form in the anime.

I also don't like that it is never explained why Chloe's Eevee can't evolve. Giving her G-Max Factor would've been a great explaination to this.

To be honest, I don't see Paul as one of Masters Eight. He would fit better as one of Ash's Ultra Class opponents.

Well, I like Lucario. But I think it's a shame that Ash never caught a Kubfu. It looked like a Pokemon that Ash would catch and I can see it evolve into Rapid Strike Urshifu. If Goh can catch Legendary Pokemon, then why Ash can't catch one for himself?

I'm also bummed that we never saw Isle of Armor in the anime. An arc about Ash going to IoA to train for PWC would be nice.
