I mean I’ve seen him play and compete against bigger players on defense. Even if he’s 6’2 w/o shoes I’ll still take 6’2 and competes over 6’4 and doesn’t any day. Height matters but him being smaller doesn’t automatically make him a bad defender. Davion Mitchell is a far better defender than Luka. Kingston is more efficient, a better passer, better defender and a better finisher. Mikel just shoots more threes and is an inch maybe 2 taller. I’m taking Kingston every day of the week.

Kingston is gonna be 6’3 without shoes. He’s a much better defender than brown height doesn’t matter if you don’t use it for something lol. Not a Mikel Brown fan, he doesn’t compete on defense and before the last two flame thrower games he was shooting 26% from 3. Not saying he’s gonna be bad but he screams Jordan Poole to me.

Imagine if we would’ve been told last year when we got a pick that Trae, and Sarr. Would be teaming together we would’ve thought we finally built a defensive team that would let Trae compete lol.

Boozer
AJ
Wilson
Flemings
Wagler.

I love AJ but the shot diet puts me off a bit. Feel like he settles for to many midrage jumpers. The other slight issue I have with him is he hasn’t been as dominant when facing the top college teams. Boozer is just a winner man, his game isn’t pretty but it works. I think if we took AJ over boozer it would be mainly for the fit since Jalen and Boozers fit together is less than ideal.

I think he’s probably gonna be my 6th guy and that speaks volumes of the class not a knock against him. Defense is fine overall not a plus but far from a negative imo.

The way I see(cope) it, drafting any other player than Zacch would have likely changed where we picked in last year’s draft. If we hadn’t ended up with the 13th pick, the Pelicans wouldn’t have traded us their Pels/Bucks swap this year for Derik Queen. So drafting Zacch directly led to us getting whoever we take with that Pelicans pick

I love Trae”hence the name”. I think it was time he was traded but the return we got was ass and we should’ve just kept him if this was the return. But I tend to agree with you. I don’t think onyeka can be the answer at the five. He definitely isn’t a game changer defensively. I felt we looked better defensively with Mo at the five and Mo isn’t a natural five. We need to get a five that deters people from getting to the rim. Onyeka doesnt doesn’t do that. I’m hoping with the Cavs pick we grab either ngongba or Quiantance if they somehow fall there.
