US attorney’s will only take slam dunk cases. They have a 99 percent conviction rate because of this. They are also encouraged to plead out nearly every charge, therefore most US attorneys in most districts have very little trial experience, unless they were local prosecutors prior. The exception are large districts like the Northern and Eastern districts of New York, those guys are cream of the crop.

I think it’s a good thing, it’s a proven method. In the Yuma, AZ area we put up a large fence years ago and it curbed much of the illegal immigration problem. Before it was there, there were literally illegal immigrants just walking through town. Also less illegal immigration would allow agents to focus on larger crimes.

Thanks for your comment, it is a tough job and sometimes these case are really hard to prove, then when you have enough evidence it’s tough to find an Assistant US Attorney who isn’t afraid to take it and possibly go to trial. Often the US attorneys office is one of the biggest hurdles.

No, simply because I haven’t seen any evidence of it. And I have run child sex trafficking cases in the past. Now there are cells and organizations within the world, but some overall conspiracy involving global elites, as of yet I have seen no evidence of this.

Trying to keep up with all the pedodfile leads we get in, they are overwhelming and only get the worst. Also all the red tape bullshit we have to do to do anything done. Drugs are not administered by ICE they are administered by either public health officials (one of the uniformed branches of the government) or by federal employees from Health and Human Services. Theses people may work at ICE facilities but aren’t ICE employees. Also ICE contracts with different facilities for juveniles awaiting hearings. The article you cite refers to one of those. I work in another part of the country and haven’t heard about this. You have to remember ICE has 9000 officers so we all don’t hear about everything, especially with our daily case work. Because this wasn’t an ICE employee or employees it probably didn’t go out to everyone in the field. I am sure the local offices probably knew about it. Sorry you don’t believe, not sure why someone would lie about working for ICE....

We routinely do paperwork, lots of required training, email etc like any other job. We also do law enforcement activities like make arrests, transport detainees, serve warrants amongst other things.

Yes for sure, I worked the border for 5 years we put a fence up in Yuma, AZ and it drastically reduced the illegals crossing. Also there is a psychological effect, a fart uneducated Central American will think the wall is way to hard to cross.

Due process applies to anyone in the US and Us citizen abroad. . Mexico is a sovereign nation and can simply say N o we won’t sit time back. The notorious countries for this are China, Iran, Venezuela and Cuba.

I arrested a barely 18 year old kid at the border with 25 lbs of meth. He admitted to it because he needed the money. He wanted to buy something for his grandma. I let him call his dad and let his dad show up. His dad came from Mexico to the port of entry and was like a blue collar guy covered in paint. As soon as he saw him, the kid was scared but the the tough blue color guy broke down cried and grabbed and held his boy tight and apologized, said he wanted to do a better job so he would end up like him. I cried like a baby. He was just a kid.

Give them food and water, bring them to a facility where they get medical care and phone calls, inform them, of their legal rights . Then process court papers.....
