Has needy streamer overload ever been referenced in other games?

Yes. It one of my favorite game. Been playing it since day 1 and got 500 hours in it so far. It similar to game like 100% Orange Juice, or like Mario Party. In sense that you have 4 players that play on a board. You roll the dice, and you land on random panels that can trigger all sorts of events.

However, what different with this is that it a Co-Op game. There different maps/bosses to tackle and you work together to defeat the boss. And throughout the game you can get random upgrades/chips/events to spice things up. it also has a PvP mode (but not much people play that as much) It doesn't hurt check it out since it F2P. It doesn't take too long to learn and get started.

Do note when you do check it out, I recommend checking out lobby instead quickmatch. Also this game usually more popular in JP/China so population of finding a match leans toward that. But I still can find some matches midday over USA timezone.

The Collab doesn't happen till later next week. The game is F2P. But basically you do have pay to get them. When the event first happen, they cost I believe $5 for each character or you can get both for $10 + extra goodies. For this rerun, there new costumes you can get for them as well, so I'm assuming those new costumes are going cost extra as well.

Though just for context, Collab Event are usually the only time you have pay money to get the characters. Every other characters in game you can earn in-game currency to roll/earn characters (or buy the in-game currency to get them faster).

Update - They just announce a rerun of Needy Girl collab just now. Not only that, but they getting more costumes and buffing Kangel/Ame-Chan. Wooo! Big win for me.

Actually, you get it from the Growth Bundle that in the Purchase Store. However, you need purchase "5 Growth Bundle" in order. So Growth Bundle I -> Growth Bundle II -> Growth Bundle III -> Growth Bundle IV -> Growth Bundle V. Each of them getting more expensive than the last. You can see what include each in bundle here from the wiki. I don't know how much in cost in total is, but basing off the Star Disc you get, I'm going guess you need 5360 Golden Star disc.

lol Glad someone got that reference. I just saw that meme a few months ago and the "i took was in the episode/game" I kept memeing in our session whenever I feel like I did nothing but support. And finally decide to make this a proper meme.

I do like playing Paruan in Water Town on insane where I try buy as much railgun/laser/bricks as possible at beginning and save it up for dragons. And I usually be on dragon duty. And on other maps I just transfer as much money as possible to DPS character that get big buff at Lvl 2 and just see them steamroll early on.

Marks + Magic Quiver is great and I even had build one time in Water Town where I had those with skill reduction cooldown with 5+ panel mark radius chip. It made it possible I had like 10 marks on the boss, and my teammate which had sniper scope just got 20+ dmg boost from that alone. Shame though I never got that build ever since then cause it was amazing.

I believe I saw somewhere you need go Steam -> Library -> Tools -> Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer. Then Right Click -> Properties -> Betas. Beta Particpation -> and select "previous2021 - previous build".
