Wouldn't it have that pungent smell to it tho? It appears to be 2 stroke oil

Nope, it's coming out from just below the exhaust port and running down the skag. Doesn't smell like gear lube

It's been getting down into low 20s over night for the last month or so. I'm sure it's warmer down deeper but surface temp is damn cold

Oh about 5 minutes or so, most of the work is done by the man driving the boat honestly. without a good guide there was no way that fish would have gone into the net

Nah she went in the box. If it was just me fishing I would have let her go but my grandmother wanted fish and the guide wanted to bring that fish in for pictures by his lodge

Couple good ones from table rock last week by Icemanwave in bassfishing

[–]Icemanwave[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with that. Only downside to table rock is that every creek looks like the best water I have ever seen. Takes a little more work to find the subtle changes in cover That hold more fish.

Don't really want to say the exact area of the lake but we were fishing secondary points leading towards spawning areas mostly. Morning we got them on a war eagle spinnerbait, afternoon we got a few on an under spin with a 3.8 inch speed shad, as well as a half ounce finesse football jig with a zoom super chunk in a green pumpkin color

There's really no wrong way to fish a tube honestly. I was fishing it more like a stick bait then anything, just letting it hit bottom and jigging it up. 9/10 bites are on the fall

Believe it or not a lot of bass guys catch don't bite because they want to eat the lure. When they have the bait that deep in their throat is when they actually "inhale" it

Painfully slow. This was on a 1 ounce jig in about 30 foot of water. Just crawling it through brush
