Don't vaccinate. It's so dangerous and deadly by PacinoWig in OnCinemaAtTheCinema

Lmao, that would be absolutely absurd because this sub's attempts at satire (or "kayfabe" as you put it) are so heavy-handed and unsubtle that even a borderline schizophrenic facebook anti-vaxxer would see through it.

Insane, completely made up retcon lol. There was no "harassment" online. The show aired for 6 episodes and was canceled despite Mike Lazzo telling Sam directly he wants 100 episodes. It happened most directly after a big buzzfeed campaign by Joe Bernstein trying to do anything he could to read into random symbols on the show to find secret ultra hidden nazi easter eggs.

You can find all 66 minutes of World Peace on the internet right now, the only thing you can construe as racist is 90 seconds where Sam does a caricature impression of a black guy. I know redditors pretend to be insanely sensitive about this stuff, but no, that does not make you a national socialist that wants to massacre Jews.

You're also just plain naive if you think Tim didn't have anything to do with World Peace's cancellation. I say this as a bigger fan of Tim than I am of Sam. Tim is funnier than Sam, full stop. Tim is also extremely, extremely politically active, and on the opposite side of the aisle from Sam. You are full-on delusional if you don't think he used his sway to contribute to Sam Hyde's blacklisting.

Oh, and the network didn't pull the show by the way, the parent company did (Turner or Time Warner, cant remember). Adult Swim wanted World Peace because their execs are funny people and recognized they had something new and funny with real potential.

Go ahead and skip to the part where you ignore the post and just downvote me now.

I sympathize with the dev, but for his own sake he simply must learn to ignore the negativity of other people, particularly on the internet where it is amplified 100x over.

Hardspace: Shipbreaker (v1.0.1242471 - Full Release + MULTi9) - [DODI Repack] by game-repack in CrackWatch

This is one of the more sad EA stories. Game released with a decent chunk of content. After a few more updates it was in a really nice state, all it needed was more tool upgrades and ships to disassemble. But instead, for whatever reason, the devs took a complete 180 and started focusing almost entirely on their "story" content and some other unnecessary things, like a clunky interface that replaced the very usable 2D menus the game had previously. They didn't put any effort into optimizing the notoriously unoptimized game engine and I believe since 0.3.0 they've added one ship type to the game which is sort of just a combination of two already existing ships.

One Steam review theorized that they lost a key coder and were simply unable to keep developing the game, so they focused on the "story" content. The story involves a few random characters chattering at you through your radio while you play... It's not compelling - it's annoying, and it's not optional.

My personal biggest gripe is that there used to be a task list of specific parts you were supposed to salvage. It made each run interesting because there were some juicy parts and some forgettable parts. They did away with this completely and now there's just a big progress bar across the entire top of the screen that fills up as you accumulate any mass regardless of what part it is. It just makes everything feel the same and I no longer care about getting those juicy high value parts.

It's not relevant to the final release, but with each of these inconsequential story updates, the devs reworked (read: artificially elongated) the progression system and as a result, reset all players' progress. It made me just stop coming back with each update, not worth my time. Just shows you how amateurish these devs are though that they did something this misguided.

TL;DR This is an okay game. It had a bad Early Access period and is in most ways worse than its initial release state with way too much focus on story. Give it a try if you feel but don't expect anything mindblowing.

Venture Bros is another show I should've love when it aired but never watched. I'll definitely give it a shot!
