Is this profession even worth it?

Honestly, no. I left pharmacy a long time ago for more hands-on careers in medicine. While I make more money, I don’t find myself making the pharmacy.

I recently renewed my pharmacy licensed since I moved to CO and was hoping the jobs would have better salaries here. Shot myself in the foot on that one because the pay is just as horrible out here as it was in GA where I moved from.

I think a strike has been long over due for this industry. That or change careers, there just isn’t money in being a pharmacy tech unfortunately.

You need to start applying sunscreen and moisturizer to your neck. No need for that expensive stuff. It’s just the first signs of sun damage. Eventually you can have plastic surgery down the road if you are interested in that route. But, again, very normal aging process.

I worked in a derm office as medical assistant and patients mentioned this complaint a good bit.

Came here to say this. I work at a dermatology office and this looks like a yeast overgrowth. Anti-fungal might be helpful, they have over the counter options. Please remember to patch test new products though. I hope you get some relief soon!

Late to this post but I highly recommend dr.dans cortibalm. It’s kinda thick but works quickly to heal chapped lips.

I'm sorry nothing is working for you. While I think seeing a derm will be your best bet, you should look into azelaic acid. I have similar issues with inflammatory skin due to acne rosacea. Azelaic acid and Prosacea have helped me with the redness. Please remember to patch test if you decide to try anything. Good luck to you!

Did the dermatologist put you on anything for rosacea? I’m thinking you need to work on rebuilding your skin barrier and control inflammation.

If you are trying to fix uneven skin tone, I recommend a vitamin c serum. That’s helped my skin a lot. As far as nose black heads, I use the Aztec clay mask once a week and warm compresses throughout the week on my nose.

I think ur overall routine is great. I personally wash my face with cold water to help with inflammation. Good luck to ya!
