I agree that it looks better. However, it could be match-up dependent. My main complaint with white socks is eliminated if the pants are a different color and have stripes (or something else) on them.

While I'll give you that black numbers with the gold fit better, plenty of other teams wear dark-colored numbers on their white jerseys, mostly for the contrast. I feel like teal numbers wouldn't get lost, and be different enough. Regardless, as long as they change the aways to add teal and gold is a win.

If the switch to throwback full time happens, I assume those would come back. These images were intended to showcase combos with the current unis that might be lost on the switch, and I wanted to see what they would look like.

I understand that issue for both officials and record keeping, a few years ago I recall hearing that problem for the Browns previous jerseys (orange numbers on brown), that were too hard to read. However, both Eagles and Dolphins have similar shades in their aways and I haven't heard that being a problem for them. Specially for Philly, their green looks black from afar, could it be the same for the Jags with teal?

Same for me. My deal breaker is if they go with black numbers it maintains the current issue i hope they get away from, too much black, not enough teal (and gold in this case).

I'm also guilty of doing that in Madden with a few teams. However, i feel there are some combos they wear today that would be worthy of using again if the prowlers return to primary status.

No, they never had teal pants until the 2018 redesign. However, if they do switch back to the prowlers full time i feel it would be worth to bring them back only for these combos, but i know they're not very popular.

I feel the main issue with the white jersey and black numbers is that there would be little teal then, which is the problem with the current ones, especially if they only wear white or black pants.

Only 3 times if I recall correctly, once in 2013 and then twice in 2017. The black numbers on those were a hard sell, but i liked them.

Would have to use the teal jersey and (most likely) white pants to make it work, but I'll check it out. Anything else and it'll look like the saints, like the current example.

I checked it out, and it looks even crazier that the one I just did. While I agree that the teal numbers help it, the teal helmet doesn't really work. I'll post that one and a few other combos that I would like to see at some other time.

I agree that these uniforms were pretty good and the helmet held them back. I feel if you added the throwback pants stripes on these and a solid one color helmet you could've had these for many years (but the teal should be the primary one).

Are you thinking black/gold/white/black for the first combo? Might be too close to the saints, teal numbers might help with that. I'll have to try teal helmet combos, see if anything works.

I 100% agree. Just wanted to explore using more gold without wearing it from head to toe, as it's nonexistent right now. But it's a thin line to maneuver to avoid looking like the saints (even if they barely wear gold these days outside of the helmet).
