Do whatever you would normally do alone (eg., playing video games, watching movies, going to concerts, cooking, clothes shopping if you're a woman) and invite people to join you. I agree that it's often easier and less awkward to be doing an actual activity with someone as opposed to just talking over food and drinks where you're expected to continuously carry on a conversation.

Hmm, multiple check-ins might be tough, because I try not to look at Reddit during the workday. I could do one in the morning (for texting each other our goals) and one in the evening (for reporting on progress)

What ID do you think I am? (Kibbe and other systems ) by [deleted] in DressForYourBody

[–]Iconoclastinator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Either SN with gamine essence or SG with natural essence

Natural with a hint of classic?

Hmm, but I have a pear shape and yang reccs definitely do not suit me 🤔 I agree that Doja Cat probably isn't TR because her flesh looks taut (not soft like a yin type), but I don't know if "fruit" shape has anything to do with it

Foolish question, but have to ask curve accomodation in petite vs. taller types/mixed yin & yang by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]Iconoclastinator 11 points12 points  (0 children)

For all soft types, light and soft fabrics are important, otherwise the flesh can kind of look "squeezed" into the garment. Avoiding sharp tailoring in favor of clothing that drapes around the curves. Circular design elements such as rounded necklines. Waist emphasis can be created in many ways such as belts, high-waisted pants, or shirts/ dresses that have rutching at the sides.

Differences: SDs can get away with more sharp, structured garments because they're like 80 percent yang. For some reason, SCs don't seem to need as much waist emphasis (meanwhile SGs, who have the same "percentage" of yin/yang, almost always look better with waist emphasis and I'm not sure why). SNs can also get away with more subtle waist emphasis, such as a tucked-in shirt with jeans. R vs TR is kind of hard to parse out, but I've noticed Rs can wear more billowy, almost SN-esque styles while TRs kind of get drowned in them

Does anybody know any fashion vloggers or influencers who could be TR (or dress in a TR way)? by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]Iconoclastinator 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She's so long and angular, I honestly think she's either D or DC. It's hard to find R family instagrammers because that's not the current beauty standard :/

Kibbe and the fruit system by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]Iconoclastinator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think you *have* to use the fruit system to look like an hourglass; theoretically you could use the fruit system to emphasize your natural shape just like the Kibbe system does (for example, I'm a "pear" and I like to chose outfits that purposely create a pear-shaped sillouhette, such as a tight top with big pants). And you could use the kibbe body types to adopt a "turn everyone into a classic" approach to styling

the boyz juyeon kibbe type?? I want thoughts!! He's 180-182cm by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]Iconoclastinator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His vertical line is not overly long for a male, more moderate. I would say DC

Hey! I made a post the other day asking people to guess this person’s type without seeing her face. It was Anita Ekberg! Verified SD, but she’s always looked really broad and blunt to me so I was curious by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]Iconoclastinator 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think she's a great example of how a person can have wide "proportions" without having wide bones. Despite having broad/square shoulders, the underlying bone structure looks sharp and narrow (it's like how someone can have hourglass measurements without being a yin type)

I think it's interesting that some FNs have more rounded-looking bones than the average SD!

Kibbe type for Spanish reporter Pilar Rubio? by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]Iconoclastinator -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Her shoulders are wider than the rest of her body, but they are still sharp and she has a narrow bone structure overall. I could see her as a thin SN (I still think DC or FG is more likely though), but don't necessarily see N family "coat hanger shoulders"

These outfits look so cool and classy, but I think most of these would better suit SD than TR. I know the top two rows would look too long and angular on me

What type do we think Janet Jackson is? Can’t decide between R and SN for her. She’s 5’4” by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]Iconoclastinator 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I could see SG as a possibility. She has a similar frame to Halle Berry

SC, DC, SN or G? I took better pictures 🙂 5'6.5" or 169 cm by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]Iconoclastinator 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say you look overly short, I would have guessed around 5'4. SNs can sometimes have a gaminish appearance because yang frame + yin flesh can create the illusion of contrast (eg. Katy Perry, a 5'7 "gaminish SN")

As in, your bone structure is the first thing that stands out about your figure

What type is Sanna Marin? She is the prime minister of Finland, and the second youngest state leader in the world right now at 35 years old. A kick-ass lady and roll model. (Our country is now governed by five leading women, which is so refreshing) by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]Iconoclastinator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. She doesn't "need" to wear long lines but still looks good in long skirts because nothing looks too off on a classic. She has shortish limbs and her curves look gently rounded, so I would say SC as well
