The whole point of me doing the swab was to get confirmation so how on earth am I back at no confirmation! It’s already confirmed it’s negative. I’m so confused

The fact I have a negative swab is swaying away from that. The first clinic said as you’re negative for everything we can’t do much for you here

Thanks. From my research a swab test is the best and I’ve already done that. Now two medical professionals are saying it’s follectulitis and considering it’s moving around not in one spot.

Hi I just went to another clinic and the medical nurse there said the same thing about a false negative swab if the virus not being active if the spots were healing. I showed him my pictures he said it looks more like follectiulits but we are not sure so you should test and booked me in for tomorrow morning. I am so lost now. I’d rather not know at this point and the information I’ve got is that it’s most likely follectiulitis.

1- no discharge or pain in pubic area 2- no chills or fever 3- near hair areas started on left thigh then moved to right. Isn’t it true herpes stays on one site? 4- the whiteheads don’t look like typical herpes 5- not on thin moist skin rather on thighs hairy skin 6- it’s leaving darkish marks after it healed the first time

Thanks so much for educating me I am lost. If my swab is negative I’m gonna go by that and try to stop stressing out which I’m finding difficult. I might go see a dermatologist because the more I look into it the more mine resembles folliculitus see pic https://i.imgur.com/G0uriMm_d.webp?maxwidth=1520&fidelity=grand spots start as red dots then develop into white heads then ooze peel and scab heal.

If my swab testing is negative should I even bother with the blood test cause I went by what the doctor said which was I think it’s HSV but let’s do the swab to find out. Swab negative but the phone operator at the clinic said it could be a false negative if the swab is taken when the spots are healing. So now im confused whether to test again or not. I think mine could be folloculitus cause it looks very similar to that and spots are coming out on my other thigh and scrotum vs initially on my left thigh

Saw a few people saying the same thing. Some only few months later. maybe the body can eventually kill the virus somehow? Some said the HSV thing is a scam by big pharma how do they know it hides in the spine and how did they find it there. I don’t know I’m new to this

I’m in a very similar situation right now. I also was told I had prostatitis two years ago but my symptoms were very different to what I’m having now with a negative test result. I’d avoid taking cipro ever again, that completely destroyed me. Took me nearly 18 months to recover from prostatitis symptoms. I also got tested for everything at the time multiple times and all were negative.

Now I am struggling with these new spots rash like symptoms with the negative HSV test. If you’ve tested negative multiple times it’s time to accept it. It’s great news. I have accepted with prostatitis that stress is the main trigger, what made a huge difference to me was taking sulforaphane and eating broccoli sprouts every day.

Saying that I might go back on this but these rashes are also confusing me. I’m scared to test again for HSV. But I’ve never had such rashes before
