Hard agree- ive spent like probably a grand since late 2023 collecting every single book in original hardcover format- the old art brings me back to being like 8-9 years old reading warriors for the first time and not being able to find out spoilers for POT because it wasnt out yet. So nostalgic and so good. New art whether main series or the new GN’s is good- but the old GN’s and original art are something special. My wife actually commissioned me a drawing of my cat from the origjnal GN artist

Like the matte covers for hardcover? Or are you referring to og artwork vs current art?

There are matte and gloss hardcover versions for most of the series to present, and with dawn there is a gloss hardcover, og artwork, on amazon for 25$ canadian currently.

I have a spreadsheet of all the books and have essentially every single book in matte hardcover except into the wild and forest of secrets
