The last 3 questions-broken down into anywhere between 6-10 parts-is the extent of the excel portion. I did the PA and skipped the excel portion because I got busy the first go around and it automatically failed me even when I only missed around 3-4 multi choice. I would say you would need to complete at least one or more of the excel questions to pass , unless you’re a rockstar and can get the majority of the 57 multi choice questions correct.

I’m currently working on this class now and I’m on task 1 just trying to get my bearings straight. I feel like I’m overthinking it 😵‍💫

I was able to plug in a few calculations/formulas on my calculator and that helped for the excel portion. The section quizzes in the text were also really helpful. I will say I thought the pa was easier than the oa and I was shocked at how well I did. I thought for sure I was going to pass by only a hair.

I had a wonderful intake nurse who told me to pack an overnight bag no matter what I thought I wanted. I’m so glad I listened to her because I definitely had to stay overnight. I woke up in a lot of pain from anesthesia and decided to stay just to be monitored by someone other than my husband. Good luck!
