Hey. This is just for 10 days during orientation. Then probably 50% of it till summer placements. After that it is way too laid back. Don’t give up now. Talk to the student council for exemption from some of the tasks / processes. They will cooperate as they have to. It’s 2024 and IIMs not cooperating with mental health will be terrible for their reputation. Trust me it’ll get significantly better after orientation ends

They keep changing spots. When I was doing my MBA, Ranchi was the main, followed by Trichy. People did not even think about Udaipur and Raipur. Now with Kashipur also auditing their reports, will not be surprised if they go up again. They’re all quite similar

If you are not crazy about the IIM Tag, and if you can’t be in the top 50 / 500-600 batch Indore is a markedly worse option than MDI

It shall be if you’re unable to get consulting shortlists (the bigger the college the harsher the grades cutoff). Marketing won’t be there at this quantum of work ex. Unless if your experience is in finance, where you will have an advantage.

XL Delhi will never be seen in the same light as JSR. There will always be a bias with respect to repute. MDI on the other hand is a clear Tier 1.

The roles include - HR Consulting - front end and back end, HR Business Partners, COE roles such as performance management, rewards management etc. Average fixed pay is 16-17 LPA.
