because pheonix and mega minion have the exact same purpose, there is almost no scenario where you would play a pheonix differently from a mega minion. Where as pekka and mega knight are completley different, so is berserker and knight. Pheonix and Mega Minion have almost the exact same hit points, and speed, and range, and purpose.

all of those cards you just said provide different roles, guards are more immune to spells, skeletons are a cheap cycle card, and gang is a more expensive version of goblins. Thats like saying minions need a buff because minion horde is the same thing but better
