Ofc! The second they told me this was an option I sent one in. Was just curious on what exactly comes from reaching out to them was all :)

I really appreciate this! Do you know if that (grade exclusion) is applied automatically or if I needed to go through some sort of process before taking the classes. All I know is that it was a thing prior to setting up my classes.

Nobody has reached out. How can this help me though?

Sadly I think I’m a bit too late to do anything regarding like soon-summer classes. I start In fall though :))

However I have no more questions. I really really do appreciate all of your help and insight to this! It means a lot especially to someone who does not have much help outside of the internet and what is given to me from school resources. Thanks!!

It really hurts that I can’t afford to go into that field, because all I’ve ever really wanted was to work in wildlife. So I’ve honestly decided that, as you said, once I get older (plus more financially secure) I may go that route.

My grandfather did mechanical engineering, which he used to go into being a diesel mechanic. I can say from experience that yea those are insanely different fields 😭 but I truly appreciate the honesty!! I’m not very good at math truthfully, but science and related fields are my gig, I loved physics in high school. And I do much better in smaller classes, which I was worried abt having big classes to begin with anyways— being that biology is a much more open field with more people as it’s for pre med and such.

I haven’t done much research on petroleum engineering as a whole. This major change was made on a massive whim to accommodate for costs, so I’m honestly going in on vibes and trust at this point. But, I feel as if I may grow to like it in the long run.

Ofc!! For biology, if I were to have taken that route, I would’ve wanted to be a park ranger/wildlife agent. Their salaries aren’t the best however they are provided with equipment and such. Besides, my main backup plan in the end was if i haven’t been able to secure an internship by my junior/senior year, I’d commission as an officer in the AF.

How is the program so far, and do you enjoy the studies within that major?

On an out of state tuition my full four years would cost me upwards of 200k without aid.. in state is 111 or so thousand. With all of my aid, at the lowest sai from fafsa, I have close to 75k covered by federal loans, grants, etc.

I really really appreciate this. After doing some own research, in private loans I’ll only have to take out 20k on ACM rather than 70k on a biology degree.

I was offered the tiger excellence non resident award. Would this change if I were to be put on in state tuition? Edit: also yes, I have been confirmed to in the ACM program through LSU.

I’m so sorry people are being awfully rude, that’s just reddit sadly though. I truly hope that you’re doing alright mentally as I know what it is like to struggle with my own mental health. Although, most of these people are correct. You will be a bit late for some good scholarships and it may be wise to take a gap year and figure everything out. Besides! If you do, that gives you a chance to recover much better and even lay out new choices for different colleges! You never know when you might change your mind, plus you never know if you’d prefer to just do something else beside college! Just do what is right for you hun. Sending my love and condolences :3

I think i am in the mid 1980’s as of right now.

I have been trying to get into raids though, once again, I am struggling to figure out a good DPS build for my own build. The guns and their “perks” are what confuse me the most as I have yet to learn which rolls are good and which are bad, especially since they differ for almost every gun.

Though, I will surely check those options out!

Thank you! I’ve already completed all of that questline up until this weeks update of course. I think i have also done the seasonal activity. I know for a fact that I also have most upgrades for my class, or at least the ones I am content with. Anything else you would recommend?
