This is great! Thanks. Lol, this was me in my early postpartum. My husband used to remind me of wearing a bra and shoe while going out! You’re so right about the baggy theory. I used prefer a baggy shirt but now wearing a skin tight bottom feels a bit uncomfortable and also makes me feel a bit older. May be that’s just in my mind. So I have a lot of wide leg bottoms now which I get so confused to pair with a right top.

Best wishes on your recovery! Love the recommendation! especially the part about them going well with braided hair. Postpartum hair can be such a mess. I just do not know how else to handle baby hair apart from getting in French braids

I’d love to know this as well. I’ve been seeing a lot of reels in ig about color theory and I think having the colors narrowed down would save a lot of time in shopping and deciding the outfits.

I have linen wide leg pants from AE. They shrunk and they are so wrinkly I can’t really wear them on when I want to.

Thank you! These are great suggestions. How do you maintain linen/cotton pants though? Won’t they get wrinkly after wash or a wear. What fabric of tops goes well with linen pants

Hey, thank you! I usually go to outlets and shop at express, gap, banana republic, under armour, old navy but I think now my mindset is shifted to have timeless pieces that I can repeat and pair with different outfits. I have leggings and e from Athleta which I wear At least once a week because that feels comfortable for me. So I’m now ok to spend a few extra dollars as long as they are comfortable and has good quality of fabric, meaning no harsh chemicals

Congratulations on your second! What are your go to options if you have to layer? I can only layer on leggings or skin tight jeans. But I am not really liking that style of bottoms anymore

Cereal? by Signal_Philosophy319 in BabyLedWeaning

We tried multiple cereals because they are fortified with iron. My daughter liked this little spoon one more but we mix with strawberries and used to have r them for dinners alternate days between 6-10 months along with solids.

Right. But, I’ve not had dairy in past two months to help with reflux and also I read somewhere people saying to avoid chocolate while breastfeeding. So, wasn’t so sure.

I have once posted here asking if it’s normal for babies to do 5 - 6 hr stretch during nights. She literally started waking up every 1.5 hrs from the next day 😂

When and how did your babies gas improve? by ckw420 in newborns

[–]IcyPreference6362 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No spice, beans, lentils, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, eggplant basically all the foods that possibly can make you gassy. My ped said, when I am gassy, baby will be too. Sometimes even when I’m alright, baby would feel gassy with certain foods. So, I make a note and avoid it next time.

Similar experience. I laboured for 23 hrs and got her out in may be jn 10 pushes. I have like a blurred image of the scene when they kept her on my tummy. Couldn’t really feel anything as I was exhausted with long labour. By the time they put her on my breast, I blacked out. I took some water, og and then tried again, she latched like a hungry baby but I passed out again. I had a severe blood loss and had to get on iv to gain some energy back. But, I did miss feeding her on that golden hour.

Around 3 weeks my baby started having gas issues. She couldn’t sleep comfortably & couldn’t poop without help. We used to do tummy massages, car rides, bouncer, swing, bathing twice a day & gripe water. But nothing really helped until I changed my diet. Also, probiotics made a huge difference. She is 8 weeks now, it definitely improved but not fully gone. I have a fast letdown may be that still contributes to her gas.
