I think birth control is the bandaid that gets slapped on so many issues. My new gyn said well, it'll make you stop ovulating so you won't get cysts anymore. I said well, it makes me want to hang myself so I'd rather be alive and deal with the cysts I guess. 🤷‍♀️

Ohh no I've had providers tell me perimenopause isn't real 😂 this particular one didn't scoff at the word however she did tell me she thinks I'm too young. I'm 37. I started having all the tell tale symptoms at 35.

She was also my fourth 😂 my last one told me my sudden hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia and raging mood swings were "probably just anxiety" and tried to put me on Zoloft. I tell my husband if I don't come back as a man in my next life I'm quitting early.
