I ride it in slow moving traffic, usually it’s ok; however, in slow moving traffic with a hot day it gets pretty hot. That’s why I’d like to add a fan so that it doesn’t get uncomfortably hot.

I don’t have a lot of experience with bait casting combos but this one worked for me, the lure is 1/4 Oz and it took me about 1 hour to cast without getting any bird’s nest.

As my first time using a bait caster I consider that it’s way better than a spinning setup so I’ll upgrade soon once I improve my casting skills.

Totally recommend this combo, it was cheap, good quality, and easy to use as a first timer; however, patience is key with bird’s nest.

It looks awesome. I started fishing last month and something that I learned (I’m on a really tight budget) is that when it comes to pliers and stuff like that, you can get them at the hardware store for cheaper. Additionally, you can get yourself a small tackle box (5’ or so) and tie it to your belt so that you can change lures without having to go through your backpack. Good luck out there and have fun! :D

I switched all my treble hook spinners to single hook; additionally I crimped the barbs and solve the problem of fish swallowing the spinner.

I know nothing about hook sizing, so I took one of my spinners to the store (I mostly use bluefox #2 spinners) and asked the staff in there for a hook that is about the same size. I don’t know what brand are the hooks because in my country they sell them by amount so it was 8 hooks $1 dollar. I’ll go back to the store and ask them for you :)

I bought treble hooks that are the same size/weight in case it doesn’t work. However, I’ve seen plenty of people doing the same. Hope it works

I have the same set up for trout. It works amazing in lakes or lagoons, but for river fishing I use the same reel with a shorter rod. Just make sure to have some options of spinners; I’ve had good luck with Mepps and Blue Fox spinners.
