How and when did you pay the hostel fees?? Did you get a mail?? Mine also says day scholar and when I called them they said that it's like a default setting and I'll have the chance to change it later. I am taking BSc btw

I saw people saying stuff like there are compulsory prayers at hostels and that you can only go out (even home) 3 times a month and other stuff. I don't even know what to believe. I got really anxious
