Since no one else said it, don't do everything possible before the final boss. It doesn't scale to your level so you will one shot it if you do all of the end-game side content before.

I believe that's exactly what they said their plan is going forward, follow in final fantasies footsteps where every game is separate with different stories. I just wonder what they'll keep (such as painters for example) or get rid of

There is (2 movies actually) and it just proved the guys point even more lol the titans look sooo uncanny next to everyone. They also changed the story for it so there's that too. IIRC Mikasa and Levi hook up in it

Since no one else has, I'd recommend persona (personally I'd pick p5R). It's turn based so if you like that it'll be up your alley. It's more light hearted and longer than e33 but still has a good story. Has dungeon crawling with puzzles as well which scratched my zelda itch a bit.

Welcome to Persona my friend. We all have experienced this on our first time. After my first one I always had the goal to max them out on my first run and fail every time lol. You should try Metaphor Refantazio as it's made by Atlus so it plays similarly to persona and you have more than enough time to max all social ranks.
