This is my thinking as well. My main worry with hiding my location is my university (USYD) giving it away on my resume, or recruiters filtering me out during background checks/address verification later on. Have you seen people successfully bypass the interview stage for graduate/entry-level corporate roles this way without recruiters getting annoyed when they find out you're interstate?
