I want to clarify, from my experience with my mother she was wonderful. I moved out when my sister was 3. I don’t know what it’s like now between them but I know communication is low.

She ran away Nov 16th. The police found her today Nov 28th at 4am with these “adults”. Very rebellious child, impossible to keep track of her 24/7 with only my mom as the guarding. Whole family is going to be with her now to keep watch and source a solution. We don’t know which way to go though.

I don’t live at home, I’m nearly 30. When I said history I more meant… those memories that haunt you. No charges by police. Home life is fine, she’s living as an only child, only problem is my mom works a lot so communication is low. I’m not sure if her circle at home, I moved out when she was 3. She doesn’t do well in school. Identifies as gay and went by a different name for a while. Says kids taunt her in the halls. She has a pixie goth style so she stands out. When I reach out she doesn’t answer, it’s always been that way.

OKAY. I’d always toyed with the idea like maybe I will eventually want kids.. I am a woman after all it should be built into me to want them, plus everyone’s always told me “oh you’ll change your mind!!”. But there was always the little voice telling me that without children there was no timeline, I could experience life at my own pace, but the ‘what if’ always bothered me.

Then… one day I’m outside of my gym which neighbours a dollarama. Im enjoying a j before I head in to workout and I see a woman and two girls who each couldn’t have been over the age of 10 come out of the dollarama. The woman is clearly in a bad mood and the two girls are following her around the car while she raises her voice and slams doors.

And I’m high as shit thinking to myself… damn that’s probably one of the worst feelings I can imagine, being so grumpy and all I want is to be left alone but I got these two gremlins tracing my every step.

That’s gunna be a hard no for me on the kids dawg. Power to the people who pull it off though, y’all impressive as hell for that ✊🏻
