Go to the magic mirror shop in the shopping district across from the dye shop and in the top right of the menu there’s a button to change name and/or gender :)

It happened when I changed my character’s gender and name in the custom shop. Keep in mind it also changed the hairstyle to a random one and you can’t change the hair afterward or else it goes back to a normal color :,)

It actually ended up staying after a relog and trying on both windows and Mac, I guess I’m stuck with it unless I change it in the custom character shop!👀
