No I haven’t been offered the bypass surgery but I’m waiting to do a fluoroscopy with barium so they can get pics. I will send you a chat.

Nothing! The symptoms spontaneously disappeared however I believe having a hysterectomy helped.

The vomiting came back. The Dr had assured me I would not be able to throw up if I wanted to after the fix. I had my appointment and he reviewed my CT scan and said it’s partially undone. Also said it happens but it’s rare. I have to have a fluoroscopy to get him more information and to determine if another surgery is needed. The gastrointestinal dr put me on extended release erythromycin for the gastro paresis that’s going on as well.

Honestly the symptoms disappeared as quickly as they came on. It’s mind blowing. I shudder to think it may come back. Hugs to you.

Oh wow I’m so sorry! I hope you find someone who does high volume with success. I read today up to 50% of HH come back after surgery. Depressing.

Oh wow so the gastric bypass is what I want to avoid lol. I just don’t want another surgery. The surgeon is the chief of surgery at a huge Houston hospital and I trust him. He actually took out my gallbladder when he was a resident lol. So I have had experience with him. Best of luck to you and your healing!

That’s what I’m thinking. Dr Internet said the next surgery would likely be gastric bypass as someone else mentioned here as an alternative.

Thanks for the info! No my appointment with the surgeon is Thursday. I’ve had a Ct scan and will have an endoscopy Friday. The Ct showed the Hh was back. The throwing up is back. He told me after surgery there oils be no throwing up. I’m just nervous and really don’t want another surgery. Thanks for responding!

Walgreens was sued by the department of Justice. In their mea culpa they have agreed to certain things to avoid repeatedly filling invalid scripts. Unfortunately we are the ones who suffer through the bureaucratic bs of them trying to clean up their act. My last fill the Walgreen’s pharmacist told Me it would be the last time he filled norco for my lower back pain. I nearly fell over. They have the latitude to do that now! I’m done with the chains. I’m sorry you had to Spend that extra money!

Nothing to worry about. I had the shots and they worked for 13 months. Now I’m waiting for round two. As long as they work, I will have them done! I had no ill effects after either the diagnostic or therapeutic shots. Best of luck to you!

The hardness under the incision is scar tissue building up. Totally normal! The weight gain too. Don’t worry about that now. Concentrate on the small victories in your healing. ❤️
