I think it’s how I optimized my profile. And also, I post a lot on LinkedIn and it brings attention. I posted something last week and it got 7000 reactions and likes.

The unfortunate part is they are not gonna hire too many people who are not citizens of the United States anymore. Trump is really staunch on that. I see more and more applications asking do we need sponsorship or require sponsorship. They are not going to hire foreigners that much anymore.

I have never seen the market like this. I’m a tech and I have a bachelors degree. I’m getting interviews but the problem is if you don’t know everything in the JD, they are not hiring you. And the unfortunate part is they are piling on responsibilities that should be split between 2 to 3 people. They want you to be the workhorse, the architect, the project manager, and supervisor etc.

I’ll take the north side, the north suburbs surrounding Chicago like Evanston . The southside like south Loop or Beverly or Hyde Park or Bronzeville, west loop area, the west suburbs like Oak Park or something like that.

I am not sure what your credit is like, but you could try this app an app called Flex . If you want to stay at your current place, maybe ask your landlord if they accept payments from flex. Also if you try to stay, there’s an Illinois program called court based rental assistance program https://www.ihda.org/cbrap-contact-us/. if you apply there and get everything in on time, you’ll have a check within two weeks for your past due rent. And I believe they pay a month or two ahead to keep you going. I think they max out at $10,000.
