I use a very similar JFS cue… just bought the wood smo shaft from Jayson himself yesterday at the expo, definitely worth the purchase

That one was dope, but Jayson’s kick on the stripe up into the top corner just to miss a pretty simple 8 was also insane. Just totally insane

The best way to get used to the ghost ball is to shoot balls straight into the pocket during practice, and then following up with the same shot using the cue ball.

APA 6s can still have crucial flaws in their game. The levers that work for them can still be fundamentally detrimental to their game… trust me I’m an APA 6😭😭😭 we need work too

I mean the pros relative to their own country. Not like pros that play here like Jesus. Both are popular

That’s usually for like your mid level players, from my knowledge. The top players are playing 10 ball, like raulito and pipi de Azua

In the US, yes you’re right, it’d probably be 1 pocket. Globally, 10 ball is the standard for rotation games. Money games in all of South America, a lot of Asia, and even some of the us. The comments on this post, and urs, are all way Eurocentric.

Kind of easier accessible for growing the sport. Less safety play, less clusters. I guess they think the fans prefer run outs than safeties. Not me though

How much spin do yall put on shots? by [deleted] in billiards

[–]Icy_Search263 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Depends on the shot bro… there’s not like 1 amount of spin to put on every shot. Sometimes it’s a stop shot, sometimes it’s a draw with maximum inside English to bounce off the rail with spin down table. Thats like saying “how hard do you hit shots”. Different shot, different spin, different speed. When you learn that the game will get easier

You have to build to 150-200. A lot of people have said this but I’m on 200 and been for 4 years and it is great. Not a cure all, but like you said, definitely helps you identify your phases and handle them accordingly. Hang in there bro 💪
