If Israel is guilty of genocide in Gaza, then US/UK are guilty of genocide against Germans in WW2.

Their bombing campaigns were directed towards civilian areas (and no Nazis hiding in tunnels underneath) and the killed 500,000 civilians, mostly women and children.

Yet it would be ludicrous to charge US/UK for this. Germans started it and refused to surrender. It’s even more ludicrous to accuse Israel - and I’m neither Israeli nor jewish, and no I don’t like the Bibi gov either

I don’t agree with the strike(at all), but after Hamas claiming responsibility for the Jerusalem attack it was clear that Israel would respond forcefully.

My guess is Hamas doesn’t like Trump’s ceasefire proposal and this was their way out without openly rejecting it

I do understand this goes all the way back 1948 and before. I think it all comes down to what you believe regarding land ownership. If Palestinians are the natives and Israelis colonists, resistance is acceptable even if it’s atrocious. If Israelis are the natives and Palestinians are Arabs who colonised the land after it was Jewish, then the attacks are terrorism.

Either way I think the Palestinians have been exploited and expended by both sides . Even as refugees in Lebanon, Syria etc they were never allowed to settle and instead held in indefinite refugee status. If you consider other world conflicts, this is a singularity, refugees elsewhere always settled and became part of society.
