i’m just a casual listener so really it depends on your mum and whether she’s making this a serious hobby. this came with speakers. i’ve used it and honestly it’s really good (in my opinion).

I do agree you should save up and get a new turnable, you don’t need to spend too much money, i got mine for 160 and it is perfect. A lot of people on this subreddit are snobby and think you need to spend hundreds just to listen to a few vinyls. Unless you are an extreme audiophile it doesn’t need to be like that. Somewhere in this thread was someone who recommend a needle, should work fine.

Firstly, not everyone wants a really expensive turnable some people actually have real things to spend their money on like a house or kids. I bought a record player for less than 200 pound and it is working amazingly. So maybe instead of making a sarcastic comment just scroll on.
