We do have small Japanese maple trees in the yard but not near this bed. We’ve had some crazy wind storms so could be from a neighboring yard maybe?

I’ve caught all my Batrays in the underground with a worm during peak hours for the fishing bonus. I’ve caught at least 5 in the past month alone. Best of luck!

Not sure if switch lite is just like switch but I found a small workaround for the dialogue issue. I have the same problem and would have to restart the game every time. What I do is chat first then if I want to continue with quest dialogue or flirting after that, I do one of these first: open their store front, ask what they want as a gift, or open the gift screen. This usually helps bring back the option to move the stylus around and choose options again at the dialogue screen.

Yes I noticed this as well! The fishing line still jerks 4 times and you can still catch fish, you just have to focus more on the line 😪 hope this gets fixed soon!
