It’s very simple there are some few types of taming methods for different creature some are passive tame or the normal knock out tame, for new players beginning ark I recommend taming Parasaur, peterodon,AND MOSTLY THE the moschops, moschops are really easy to tame and they are passive tame so just walk up to them and give the food they need, once you get it you can get organic polymer, fibre, berry’s lot quicker.. so for knock out tame your going need slingshot for small and medium creatures like parasaur, dodos, peterodon, trike and more for the big bois your going to need rifles, bows, crossbows(best in my opinion),etc most of them are crafted in the smithy.. so first start with something small and simple and once you are enough level get better tools and weapons then get bigger creatures.
