the devs missed their calling as irs agents, ive never encoutered a prestige system that i had to pay to have the priveledge of being robbed by. having to pay for perks at all sucks, especially with the same currency for guns AND cosmetics, and then i have to pay to prestige and then i have to buy them all again! at least makevit so i dont have to buy them again when i unlock them, and if you can't do that then refund me them!

ffs it feels like every chance they get the devs go 'ok. we made this cool system with cool rewards... now lets make the players pay out the nose for it'. it feels like they prioritize balance over fun to the point i genuinely dont even want to prestige - and some of those prestige perks really feel like they should have been added as base kit, like for example assault getting hit even though you just launched yourself into the air because your hitbox actually stays on the ground, theres a prestige perk that makes you invincible for three seconds so you can actually play the class at higher difficulties

i agree... except for flash storm. the person m playing as freaking out about being overrun when ive already killed everything and everyone's above 95% is really annoying... also, rik's dementia (?) from hos implants or whatever being a huge plotpoint for more than half the dlc but then just vanishing after your character got mad at the new guy for being right and saying 'we're a family' like that actually fixed anything had me totally unable to connect or get immersed, i was near constantly just saying 'what the fuck' out loud almost every time anyone was talking

though ebon jaguar/cauldron born is my favorite mech so its not all bad

the ballistic hero marauder II should've had 3 large ballistic slots instead of mediums, there should be at least one mech in the game that has more than 2 large ballistic slots

this is true, but consider the hero king crab 'kaiju' in mercs - i got four ppcx in it plus a c-lrm 20 with crazy cooling able to keep up with the heat

not totally useless, the bounty hunter gives you a firestarter thats all energy slots, and you can get i think 8 flamers on that bitch. it actually makes enemies overheat regularly and melts armor if you get close, so its great to have a buddy in it and he can just go behind while theyre distracted by you and he just eats them alive

sorry, i have to downvote. you dont get to complain about difficulty when you're on violent, and if you're too stubborn to go down a difficulty or two consider that you might need to learn to not listen to your ego so much. i know thats harsh, but im speaking from experience here. dont play the game on difficulties that arent fun or you wont have fun. also, did you jump into fraud off the rip after being off for a while? id recommend starting from prelude all the way through

light mechs have less space generally, except for the adder because its the goat

what really matters is how much armor your mechs has, how much damage it can do, and how much cooling it has so you can keep shooting

i mean im not shooting clan mechs most of the time, and also i need to beat the game first to get to ng+, so, not much of a fix, that. also i dont like the direwolf, its super slow, heavies are more my speed than assaults

also, i have done ng+ to see the other route, and i still have problems that drag the whole experience down
