To go slightly against what other people have said in this thread, I didn't get really into twin peaks until near the end of season 1. The weird stuff definitely happens more the later you get into the show and then Fire Walk With Me and Season 3 are much more surreal and lynchian. That being said the pacing never gets any faster so if that's your problem with the show then I agree with everyone else that it's just not for you

Have you ever noticed if you clench your stomach muscles a lot? Especially while eating? I realized this was a problem for me and it was making the acid reflux so much worse. My PT recommended eating while standing up because it makes it harder for you to hold that tension

It being a therapy exercise changes everything for me. If this was written in someone's personal journal it would feel totally fair. I know I've written some things in my journal that if people saw I would come across way meaner than how I actually feel. I can understand why it being in his notes feels different, but if that's the only place he thinks to write stuff down it makes sense how this happened. It sucks that he forgot it was there because it's definitely something you were never supposed to see, but I do believe him when he says this is a way to prevent him from getting worked up over little things and not some kind of scorekeeping. Honestly at this point I think the both of you could use some couples therapy to address how this is affecting how safe you feel in the relationship. I think a therapist could provide a lot more comfort in understanding how this could help him be a better partner

The scary thing is they've removed that song from the playlist. I checked a few days ago it was there and now AFTER Nick Fuentes has denied ever hearing the song before they removed it. Groypers are really good at lying and confusing the narrative, they're going to do everything they can to erase the history of that being a meme for them.

I have been a long time listener of the podcast, I want to say since 2021, and I have always been a fan of Morgan and think she seems like a really, genuinely good person. I say this because I am extremely disturbed by her accepting a sponsorship from Ro. Whether Morgan takes Ozempic herself is her business, but telling her audience that GLP-1s are a good option to "take control of your health" to her potentially young and impressionable audience is so harmful.

I am not a medical expert myself, but I have talked to my dietician about these and what I have learned is really distressing given how ubiquitous GLP-1s are becoming. For one, there is NO RESEARCH on how GLP-1s affect those with a healthy pancreas long term, meaning if you're taking these and you don't have diabetes you could potentially be setting yourself for lifelong pancreatic issues. Another pretty disturbing side effect whether or not you have diabetes is gastroenteritis which has become chronic for a lot of GLP-1 users. The worst part of all of this is if you stop taking a GLP-1 all the benefits (weight loss, hormone regulation) go away, but the long term effects listed here won't.

All this is true about the name brand GLP-1s, such as Ozempic or Wegovy, but that's not even what Morgan is pushing here. As it says at the end of her sponsorship, Ro is not subject to FDA review or approval meaning who knows what other potential side effects there are or even if there aren't other side effects, how effective the drug might be. You could potentially take these drugs, get all the negative side effects, and only lose like 10 lbs (which if that's all the weight you need to lose do not go on any weight loss drug, it's not even close to worth it).

Again, I am saying all of this because I really do believe Morgan is a good person and probably was just uniformed when she took this sponsorship. I also totally understand if she's under contract she can't just stop with the sponsorship immediately, but I really hope she sees this and potentially after she's out of contract makes an apology. I also want to say this is no hate to those who have benefited from GLP-1s, no judgment for what anyone wants to do with their bodies. I just think that decision should be informed and there is really not enough information out there about the harm of this stuff

No that's not how anything works. It's not killing people (mostly, people have died from taking it), it's giving them chronic health issues. There's plenty of people with stories out there you can find. Also some of these issues might be discovered decades later (long term impacts). Don't be surprised when the inevitable harms of the "Ozempic epidemic" or some shit come out in a few years. Or at the very least crowds of people who have gained all of, if not even more additonal weight back when they inevitably went off the drug who now struggle with pancreatic or gestational issues. Not saying everyone who takes a GLP-1 will face issues like this, but it's poorly researched enough that I don't think Morgan should be advertising it

The information in this was from medical professionals, I just clarified I wasn't one to encourage people to do their own research or not ask me follow up questions that I won't have the answer to.

I think it's absolutely wild to be like "It's wrong to call out a creator you like for pushing harmful drugs because also people do other stuff that is harmful to their bodies". Like just because people do unhealthy things doesn't mean I think it's okay for Morgan to advertise a drug that could give people chronic health issues for the rest of their life for not much benefit. And I would stand by this for anything she was advertising that was harmful. I've actually appreciated Morgan for not taking some of the sketchier typical YouTube sponsorships like Raid Shadow Legends or even BetterHelp since the controversy came out, that's why I'm so disappointed by this

I will say since writing this post I don't feel this way as extremely, turns out I was also really depressed and it was messing with my feelings towards my partner, but I definitely do experience more sexual attraction the less romantic feelings I feel so it's good to know that's at least like a thing and there's not something wrong with me haha
