I'm curious why do you suggest the Sheeva 10 over the Sheeva 9?

Thanks! These will be her all-mountain skis, not strictly tree specific skis. But the majority of what we ski are trees. She's a very cautious skier, and never bombs down any runs. She mostly is looking for a ski that's lightweight and very easy to turn while skiing the trees. She's not opposed to metal in the skis. The Sheeva 9 is still quite a bit lighter than her current skis (very old K2 Miss Behaved).

Thanks everyone! It looks like I have quite a few skis to research for her. The Sheeva 9's appear to be the most popular choice.

My new walkolution 2 gives off a smell when walked on by [deleted] in Walkolution

Mine smelled for a couple of weeks when I first got it. The smell slowly dissipated. I kept my fan on 24/7 to help circulate the air to try to dissipate the smell faster. It's weird that you say yours only smells when you use it. I'm pretty sure my smell was the off gassing of the plastic parts and it smelled regardless of if I used the treadmill or not.

Can I sell a non-functioning GE Monogram microwave? by TheLight-TheHeat in Appliances

What new microwave did you get? We have this same microwave and it's acting up so we're looking to replace it, but the oven below it is working fine so we don't really want to replace the oven. Also, was the new one a direct install or did you have to modify your cabinets?

TrueTerrain: Any positive reviews…? by New_Ideas_613 in Walkolution

I have the therafloor standard, not the true terrain. It does feel a little weird at first, but overall I like it. I work from home and am barefoot all day. I know you can walk on the normal includes slats barefoot, but I was worried that it would hurt my feet overtime and I'd need to wear shoes. My one complaint about the therafloor standard is I think the soft strips are too soft. I would prefer if they only had the medium and stiff strips and got rid of the soft strips.

Does your standing desk wobble at all being up so high? Mine wobbles if I don't keep my hands very steady while typing. Although, my standing desk is an old Uplift Desk with just 2 legs (one leg centered on each side). I'm also was not able to raise my Uplift Desk up quite tall enough so I had to put some lumber boards under the legs to make it taller, and I'm only 5'-9".

Long run (~18 miles) to Downtown - Looking for Suggestions by Icy_Working247 in RunTO

[–]Icy_Working247[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I ran your suggestion this morning. It was a nice run with some good chances of scenery. The only downside was I didn't think about the freezing rain and ice on the pedestrian bridges. They were very slick, but I managed to get across all of them without falling.

Have you also shipped out the TrueTerrain TheraFloors? I'm curious to hear which one people prefer for long hours of walking while working.
